Kuwait’s Agility posts KD 977.4 mln net profit in ’21

Agility, a leader in supply chain services, infrastructure, and innovation, reported full-year 2021 earnings of 464.36 fils per share on net profit of KD 977.4 million (about USD 3.2 billion), an increase of 2.250 percent over the same period in 2020.

The company’s revenue amounted to KD 486.2 million (about USD 1.6 billion) in 2021, an increase of 22.1 percent over 2020, Agility Vice Chairman Tarek Sultan said Saturday.

Net revenue amounted to KD 251.4 million (roughly USD 826.8 million) last year, an increase of 17.6 percent compared to 2020, while Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) amounted to KD 109 million (around USD 358.5 million), Sultan added.

For 2021, the Board of Directors has recommended a cash dividend distribution of 20 fils per share, in addition to 20 percent bonus shares (20 shares for every 100 shares) as the cash and stock dividends are subject to approval by the General Assembly.

Agility is a pioneer in emerging markets, one of the largest private owners along with developers of warehousing as well as light industrial parks in the Middle East, Africa and Asia, a Kuwaiti company established in 1979 and listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange in 1984 with a market capitalization of USD seven billion.
