The 60th Kuwaiti Basketball League 2022/2023 will kick off tomorrow, Sunday, with the participation of 11 teams.
In a press statement Saturday, the Federation’s Board Member and Head of the Competitions Committee, Mohsen Al-Mutairi, said that the games will be played at Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Complex.
He also stressed the readiness of all the federation’s committees, expecting that this year’s tournament will be special and exciting.
Kuwait’s Basketball League was launched in 1961-1962 with the participation of six clubs.
Al-Qadsiyah SC has won the most league titles with 23 trophies, followed by Al-Kuwait (13), Kazma (nine), Al-Arabi (eight), Al-Jahra (five) and Al-Sahel (one).
