The COVID-19 Ministerial Emergency Committee held on Thursday a meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah.

The meeting, held in Seif Palace, focused on the latest reports by health authorities concerning COVID-19 cases in the country.

It also discussed international development concerning the worrying spread of the COVID-19 variant, Omicron.
