– Kuwait’s privately-owned Al-Jazeera Airways on Sunday said its full-year net profits reached KD 7.1 million (USD 23.5 million) in 2021, equivalent to 33.26 fils per share.

Total growth was worth 126.8 percent, the airline’s chairman Marwan Boodai said in a statement, putting the company’s operating revenue at KD 80.4 million (USD 265.9 million), while operating profit reached KD 10.8 million (USD 35.7 million).

He said the company earned KD seven million (USD 23.1 million) worth of net profits for the last quarter of 2021, which was an increase of 164.6 percent.

Some one million travelers had flown on Al-Jazeera aircrafts last year, he revealed, while the airline’s designated terminal T5 had posted earnings of KD 1.1 million (USD 3.6 million) in the same period
