Kuwait’s Makhseed wins silver at 2nd France auto racing championship

Kuwait International Motorsport Club driver Ali Makhseed won silver of the drifting race of the second international motorsports games, organized by the International Automobile Federation (FIA), in Marseille City, France.

In a press statement Sunday, the club’s secretary Isa Hamza said that Makhseed won the silver of the event held on October 26-30, and gained the second place followed by Latvian rival Kristaps Bluss.

The medal is the first of its kind at international level for Kuwait, he said, referring that it is an achievement for the country at an international event.

The competition includes 452 drivers from 72 countries that are partaking in 16 games, he stated.

He thanked Minister of Information and Culture, and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi for his continued support to sports.

Meanwhile, Makhseed expressed his pride for this accomplishment made for the first time, thanking the Public Authority for Sport for its big support.
