Kuwait’s NCCAL to organize multiple activities in Dubai Expo 2020

The National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL) is taking part in the Dubai Expo 2020, due between 1st October to 31st March 2022, which was postponed last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

NCCAL will take part in different activities, representing the Kuwaiti identity in culture, arts and folklore, the council’s official spokesperson and assistant secretary general for culture Dr Essa Al-Ansari said in a statement on Wednesday.

The Ministry of Information is supervising the Kuwaiti booth’s activities at the event, said Al-Ansari. He added that NCCAL will present 25 activities related to children and handmade items with the participation of Sadu House. It will also include folklore music, photography, theater, musical concerts, seminars on books and literature, poetry and Arabic handwriting.

The Kuwaiti booth will also showcase a national wall art in celebration of the National Day and the Liberation Day during the Expo, he noted
