Makkah Municipality Recruits 22,000 People in Preparation for 1444 Hajj Season

Makkah Municipality has finished early its preparations for the Hajj season for 1444 Hijri, having come up with plans and programs for providing the best services to pilgrims.

Makkah Municipality spokesperson Osama Zaituni told the Saudi Press Agency that the municipality has mobilized all its human and mechanical capacities, supported by assistance teams from certain sectors, like municipalities, public security, and scouts, as well as by a number of temporary health monitors, and has a large fleet of equipment and machinery, to be ready to provide the highest levels of municipal services to pilgrims.

He added that all services are provided as a result of the support and directives of the government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in order to ensure the security, safety and comfort of pilgrims, and enable them to perform their rituals smoothly.

Zaituni added that the municipality has prepared its 13 sub-municipalities and three subsidiary municipalities, as well as 28 centers in Makkah, geographically distributed to cover the entire area of the holy sites, and provided them with all the machinery and manpower needed, in addition to recruiting 22,000 people to cover all fields
