The President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, held a meeting in Abu Dhabi today, Thursday, with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During the meeting, according to a statement by the regional government, they discussed ways to strengthen relations and consolidate the bonds of friendship between the UAE and the Kurdistan region.
The meeting also witnessed a mutual affirmation of the importance of closer coordination and cooperation between the two sides in all fields.
In another aspect of the meeting, the two sides discussed the general situation in Iraq and the region, in addition to a number of issues of common concern.
