Medical Team Saves Life of Iraqi Pilgrim in Madinah

A medical team at Al-Safia Urgent Care Center, located next to the Prophet’s Mosque, has saved the life of an Iraqi woman pilgrim by performing a 23-minute cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

According to the Madinah Health Cluster, after the patient’s condition was stabilized, she was transferred to King Salman Medical City to complete the treatment.

Medical teams in Madinah have serviced more than 20,000 pilgrims after Hajj; 11 cardiac catheterizations, 27 dialysis sessions and nine other surgeries were performed on pilgrims of several nationalities at medical facilities in Madinah.
