The Meteorological Department said the State of Kuwait would witness torrential rain from the early morning tomorrow, Wednesday, until Thursday.

The cloudy and thundering weather will be accompanied by moderate southeastern wind blowing at speed of 15 – 45 km./h, Dhrar Al-Ali, supervisor of weather observatories, told KUNA on Tuesday.

On Friday rain will cease while wind speed will decrease to 10 – 30 km./h and change direction to northwest.

Weather will become foggy as of tonight until Saturday while rains will fall again Saturday evening throughout Sunday, Al-Ali noted.

The cold weather will continue over the coming days with maximum temperature ranging between 14 and 19 °C and minimum ranging between 3 and 10 °C, he added.
