MEWIIN participants win highest awards in Global WIIN

Al-Saad Foundation for Knowledge and Scientific Research Head Sheikha Fadiya Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah said that qualifiers from Middle East Women Inventors and Innovators Network (MEWIIN), who achieved top awards in Global Women Inventors and Innovators Network (Global WIIN), shows the foundation’s contribution to building advanced professional capabilities for women in facing challenges.

Sheikha Fadiya Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah said to KUNA on Thursday after announcing the winners in the closing ceremony of Global WIIN that MEWIIN’s qualifiers have achieved the highest awards internationally for the second time.

The initiative is considered a great opportunity for Arab women to achieve international recognition and success as well as accomplish their goals in offering scientific and creative educational solutions to face challenges and achieving partnership with global organizations, she added.

On her side, Head of MEWIIN, Sheikha Nabila Al-Homoud Al-Sabah expressed to KUNA her pride in those achievements and the women winning the highest international awards.

She also affirmed her pride in this initiative as it supports women and their capabilities in dealing with scientific means and technology, as well as innovating useful elements that support women in the society.

The Global Women Inventors & Innovators Network (Global WIIN) is an independent non-profit organization that aims at empowering women to reach their goals in developing inventions and achieving success in global markets.
