MILSET Asia to organize student conf. in Kuwait

KUWAIT, March 15 (KUNA) — Asia Office of the International Movement for Leisure Activities in Science and Technology (MILSET) plans to hold its second conference for talented students in Kuwait this May.

Commencing the preparations for the sideline training courses on Wednesday, Adnan Al-Meir, deputy head of MILSET Asia Office, said the event will gather 96 high school students, males and females, who excel in chemistry, physics, biology and geology. “The conference aims to foster the scientific skills of grade-11 students through lectures, training courses and workshops,” he told reporters.

The Kuwaiti Mistry of Education is working with MILSET office in Kuwait to work out a host of activities and programs for fostering the creative skills of students, Al-Meir added. (end) mrf.nwf.gb
