Riyadh, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received a telephone call today from Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Ayman Al-Safadi.

The two top diplomats discussed the importance of gathering support to the resolution Jordan submitted to the United Nations General Assembly on the need to protect civilians and abide by legal and humanitarian commitments.

They also underscored the importance of intensifying communication with the international community on enforcing an end to military escalation, protecting civilians, ensuring the delivery of relief and medical supplies, and finding a just and comprehensive solution that meets the ambitions of the brotherly Palestinians.
