Minister of Media Inspects Radio and Television Headquarters in Grand Mosque


Makkah: The Minister of Media, Salman Al-Dossary, visited some radio and television headquarters in the Grand Mosque in Makkah on Tuesday to review work progress and ensure the efficiency of performance during the coverage of the Umrah season in Ramadan.

The tour included the headquarters of the Holy Quran Channel in the Grand Mosque, where the minister was received by the channel’s director, Saleh Al-Ahmadi, other employees, and the teamwork of administrators and technicians.

The media minister was briefed on the transmission studios, their technologies, and the live broadcast provided to millions of people worldwide during the holy month.

At the conclusion of the visit, he praised the media role played by workers in Saudi channels and radio stations, as well as keeping pace with media coverage of various occasions and events.
