MoI: 6,112 residency law violators deported, over 800 arrested

– The Ministry of Interior (MoI) said Sunday that 6,112 people who violated the law of residency and work were deported last August and September.
Within the framework of residency affairs investigation department, 789 violators were arrested, including 585 in August and 204 in September, the Ministry’s security media and public relations department said in a statement.
The department pointed out that 45 others were arrested during the period from September 28 to October 6 for the same reason, according to the statement.
The statement appealed to both citizens and residents to cooperate with security men, and neither hide, nor aviod informing about, any residency violator.
