NCCAL completes sustainable cultural development strategy

 

– Acting Secretary General of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL) Dr Essa Al-Ansari announced completing the council’s strategy for the coming years, focusing on sustainable cultural development.
In a statement to KUNA on Saturday, Al-Ansari said the strategy targets investing in talents, creative economy, institutional sustainability and digital development.
The strategy also aims to launch six cultural centers in all six governorates, as well as develop children and women culture and provide awards for creative people, he noted.
NCCAL’s plan was complete after long studies of the experiences of 32 countries in culture and literature, as well as organizing 28 discussion sessions and workshops for 760 employees
