Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, announced his rejection of the changes that affected the paragraphs of the draft budget.

He stressed in a statement: “The commitment to the political agreement of the State Administration Coalition is the basis for security and stability in Iraq, and it is the right step towards a better future for the country and all its components.”

He explained that going beyond understanding and agreement and striving to violate our constitutional rights represents a method of dealing completely contrary to national responsibility, and produces nothing but disappointment and disturbs political stability, and harms all of Iraq, calling on the parties to the state administration coalition to abide by the agreements and act at the level of responsibility.
