Nepal national football team arrived in Kuwait Sunday, to participate in the joint qualifiers for the World Cup (2022 in Qatar) and the Asian Cup (2023 in China) within the second group, in preparation for the resumption of the group stage matches, hosted in Kuwait from June 3rd to 15.

The Nepali team conquers the fourth place in the group with a score of 3 points, and it will open the group stage against China, Taipei, ranked fifth, next Thursday.

Health precautionary measures will be applied to the competitions due to the repercussions of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Measures such as movement of players, officials, organizers and all participants in the tournament will be restricted to the accommodation venues and assigned training facilities to ensure safety to all.
