The petrochemical industry plays a vital role in implementing sustainable development plans in many Arab countries, said OAPEC’s Secretary-General, Ali Bin Sabt.
In a speech during a symposium organized online by OAPEC General Secretariat, Tuesday, on the role of the petrochemical industry in the development of small and medium enterprises, Bin Sabt said that petrochemicals are one of the most important sources of income for oil-producing countries.
He also stressed the importance of small and medium industries projects due to their pivotal and important role in economic and social development in many countries
