Oil prices rise by more than 2% after US and British strikes against military targets in Yemen


Oil prices rose by more than two percent today, Friday, after the United States and Britain launched strikes against military targets in Yemen.

Brent crude futures rose $1.81, or 2.3 percent, to $79.22 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude rose $1.80, or 2.5 percent, to $73.82 by 0154 GMT./End
