Kuwait Public Authority For Food and Nutrition (PAFN) announced Monday that Kuwait is participating in UN’s Food Systems Summit in Rome.
PAFN Chairman of the board Reem Al-Fulaij in a statement for KUNA said that the UN’s summit targets scientific methods to enhance food systems.
She stressed on the importance of this participation, and Kuwait will also partake in a conference (ahead of the summit) today at the headquarters of Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO).
“This conference paves the way for the high-class event set to be held in September, it also aims to launch a number of new commitments through cooperation and partnerships to reinforce food security in the world,” she said.
