KUWAIT, June 19 (KUNA) — National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim arrived on Sunday in the Turkish city of Istanbul to partake in Parliamentary International Conference, under the auspices of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, organized by the Inter-Parliamentary-Union (IPU) and in cooperation with the Turkish Parliament.

Al-Distoor news network said Al-Ghanim participation will focus on the international agreements regarding immigration, refugees, and in response to an invitation by the Turkish Parliament.

Upon arrival, the Speaker was received by Kuwait Ambassador to Turkiye Ghassan Al-Zowawi, Kuwait General Consul in Istanbul Mohammad Al-Mohammad, and senior diplomats at Kuwait Embassy.
