— The Ministry of Education announced Monday that studies in government and private schools will be suspended on Tuesday, due to the partial eclipse expected to be at 01:20 p.m. local time, studies will resume on Wednesday.

In a statement, the ministry said that the decision came out of concern for the safety of students, based on the recommendations of the Ministry of Health not to be exposed to sunlight directly two hours before the eclipse to protect the eyes.

The ministry affirmed its constant keenness to provide all necessary measures to keep students save and provide the appropriate educational environment
