Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani affirmed that the economy is a factor that helps in strengthening the political relations of any country.”

The Prime Minister said in a press interview: “It is hoped that after Eid, a conference will be held in Baghdad for Transport Ministers in the region to talk about the development path project.”

He explained: “The path of development is not a project for Iraq, but for the region and the world.”

A-Sudani affirmed that stopping the export of the Kurdistan region’s oil harms all of Iraq, not just the region.

The Prime Minister said in a press interview: “There are procedural issues after the agreement to resume exporting the region’s oil, and most of them have been resolved,” indicating: “The resumption of exporting the region’s oil will be within a week.”

He added: “The federal government is committed to paying salaries, whether to employees of the region or in any governorate.”
