A 4.5-magnitude earthquake occurred in Al-Manageesh area southwest of Kuwait, said the Kuwait National Seismic Network (KNSN) on Monday.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Enezi, an official at the KNSN, said that the quake happened at 11:31 a.m. local-time in Kuwait at a depth of eight kilometers.
The KNSN is an entity affiliated with the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR).
