Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) announced Tuesday reactivating refinery units at Mina Al-Ahmadi after an emergency suspension last night.

In a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), KNPC mentioned that work in units returned to normal after Public Authority of Industry resumed supplying cooling water, necessary to operate machinery.

KNPC affirmed that local supplies and export operations have not been affected by this emergency suspension.

The company had announced last night some units of Mina Al-Ahmadi Refinery and the gas plant experienced a drop in refining capacity at 8:00 p.m. that led to an emergency suspension due to the cut of cooling water supply.
