Within hours, the police and security services uncovered an armed robbery that took place yesterday afternoon in the town of Anata, north of the occupied city of Jerusalem, and targeted a smoke dispensing vehicle.

Police spokesman Colonel Louay Irziqat said that from the moment the crime occurred, the Criminal Investigation Department, the evidence crew in the Jerusalem Suburbs Police, and the security services began search, investigation, and evidence collection procedures, and were able to identify the suspects who were able to escape into the city of Jerusalem.

Arziqat added that, through the efforts of the police and security services, a sum of money from the stolen items was returned.

Irziqat confirmed that procedures are continuing to arrest the suspects and take legal measures against them according to the rules
