The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia called, today, Friday, for restraint and avoiding escalation in Yemen.

It said in a statement: ‘The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is following with great concern the military operations taking place in the Red Sea region and the air strikes that targeted a number of sites in the Republic of Yemen.’

The statement added: ‘The Kingdom stresses the importance of preserving the security and stability of the Red Sea region, in which freedom of navigation is an international demand because it harms the interests of the entire world, to call for restraint and avoid escalation in light of the events the region is witnessing.’/End
