Saudi Graduate Registers a Patent in the US Titled “Innovative Design for the Development of Concrete Resistant to Sulfuric Acid Environment in Oil and Gas Factories”

A Saudi student, Ali Al-Yami, who graduated from the University of Florida through the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program, has successfully registered a patent titled “Innovative Design for the Development of Concrete Resistant to Sulfuric Acid Environment in Oil and Gas Factories.”

The patent has been officially registered at the US Patent Office with the serial number 63/460,524. This significant achievement was the result of a year of dedicated research and development conducted in collaboration with the University of Florida, aiming to solve a longstanding technical challenge faced by the industry, particularly concerning underground molten sulfur reservoirs.
