South Korea.. Jeju International Airport searched after a bomb threat

South Korean police searched Jeju International Airport after a post on the Internet threatening to detonate a bomb at the airport, South Korean officials announced today.

According to the South Korean “Yonhap” News Agency, quoting police officials, the leaflet was posted yesterday evening on the Internet, threatening to launch a terrorist bomb attack on Jeju International Airport at dawn today.

The author of the post said, “He had hidden a bomb inside the airport and threatened to stab people coming out of the airport.”

Police searched the airport for two hours after finding the leaflet, but no explosives were found.

Officials stated that the police are planning to deploy members of them and tighten control over entry to the airport, today, Monday, in preparation for any emergency, and they are also tracking down the writer, vowing to severely punish the suspect.
