Spain To Host A Friendly Football Match Between Iraq And Colombia Next June

The Iraqi Football Association announced the agreement to hold a friendly match between Iraq and Colombia in the Spanish capital, Madrid, next June.

A source close to the Iraqi Football Association told (Kooora) website that the arrangements for holding the friendly match between the Iraqi and Colombian teams in the upcoming Spain camp have been completed.

He added: The 17th of next June has been set as the date for the match, which will be an important station for improving the classification and giving an opportunity to professionals who have completed their official papers, such as Kevin Yaqoub and Amin Al-Sanati.

He continued: The Iraqi Football Association continues its negotiations with advanced teams in the classification to play a second match in the Spain camp, and the Colombian team will meet after Iraq’s confrontation with its German counterpart on the 20th of the same month.

It is noteworthy that the Iraqi national team will hold a training camp in the middle of next June, to prepare for the upcoming events, most notably the Asian Cup finals scheduled for Qatar in early 2024, and the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
