Sudanese media reported, this evening, Sunday, that former Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir and a number of political prisoners escaped from Kober Prison in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, while no official confirmations have been issued on the matter yet.

The attacks on the prison, which houses the most prominent former leaders of the era of Omar al-Bashir, including the ousted President himself, were repeated, after several prisons in Khartoum were subjected to previous attacks and detainees escaped, during the clashes between the Rapid Support Forces and the army since last week.
