TGA Announces the Start of Uniform Compliance for Bus Drivers


Riyadh, The Transport General Authority (TGA) announced today the start of uniform compliance for bus drivers’ transport activities, effective April 25. Uniforms will be mandatory for drivers in specialized transport, bus rental and guidance, educational transport, and international transport, in compliance with the regulations governing bus transport activities.

The uniform is expected to improve the quality and efficiency of services provided in the bus transport sector, while enhancing the appearance and positive impression of these vital services.

This move is part of a series of ongoing modernization and improvement plans for the bus transport sector, which includes technical specifications for passenger buses, such as their operating life and compliance with relevant regulations.

The TGA is committed to developing and improving all aspects of the bus transport sector to enhance the quality of services provided to all segments of society, as well as tourists and visitors to the Kingdom.
