The “G7” pledges that countries that help Russia in Ukraine will pay “heavy prices”

The Foreign Ministers of the Group of Seven countries warned, on Tuesday, that countries that help Russia in the Ukrainian crisis will pay “heavy prices.”

The meeting did not announce any new measures against Moscow, but they pledged to intensify the application of sanctions. The Ministers also condemned Russia’s threat to deploy nuclear weapons in Belarus, describing it as “unacceptable”.

In addition, the Group of Seven confirmed that it “will maintain strict sanctions against Russia, as well as continue its strong support for Ukraine.”
