The Israeli Ministry of Justice announced that it had been subjected to a large-scale cyber attack, while a hacking group claimed responsibility for the attack.

The Ministry stated, according to Sky News Arabia: ‘The competent authorities are working to determine the extent of the damage resulting from the attack.’

It added that it had prepared in advance for this type of scenario and the matter was immediately reported to the relevant authorities. The scope of the materials is still under study and it will take some time to examine the content and scope of the matter, the leaked materials and their source.

A group calling itself “Anonymous for Justice” claimed responsibility for the hack.
