On the sidelines of the meetings of the Council of Arab Ministers of Health, the Minister of Health, Dr. Saleh Al-Hasnawi, held a meeting with the Egyptian Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar.

A statement by the Ministry of Health stated that during the meeting, they discussed increasing prospects for health cooperation between the two countries, including in the field of pharmaceutical companies, academic fellowships, training, and addiction control. Joint committees were formed between the two parties, and the Iraqi-Egyptian-Jordanian Coordinating Council was activated.

The two sides stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation in various health fields, in a way that contributes to providing advanced services to patients in the two countries./ End
