The Ministry of Education reviews with UNESCO the future lines for the reform of education and vocational training

The Ministry of Education, headed by the Undersecretary for Administrative Affairs, Falah Mahmoud Al-Qaisi, and in the presence of the Director General of Cultural Relations, Sahar Harbi, reviewed with a delegation from UNESCO, the priorities for the completion of the project in the first phase and the future axes and lines it will include in its second phase, in partnership with the European Union.

The media office at the Ministry said in a statement, “The project will contribute to the development of the professional aspects developed by educational institutions in light of the labor market needs, the requirements of national development, and the state’s vision for managing strategic policies in the field of education and training according to high quality standards that can improve both technical and vocational training.”

For his part, the Senior UNESCO Consultant for the project, Tim Maisen, and the accompanying delegation presented him with a detailed report on the effective role of activities in supporting the capabilities of Iraqi vocational education.
