The Popular Mobilization Forces began combing operations within the first phase of the forty-year security visit plan in the sectors of responsibility.
A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the combat formations of the Popular Mobilization, and within the strategy of the Diyala Operations Command of the Mobilization Forces, began implementing the axes of the first phase of combing the agricultural areas close to the paths of the flow of Iranian visitors from the Munthiriya border crossing, northeast of Baquba.
He added that the first phase of the fortieth security plan includes securing the perimeter of land and agricultural roads, combing river banks, and coordinating with other security formations to bridge the gaps between the security sectors.
It is noteworthy that combing operations took place during the past hours within the sectors of Khanaqin and its surroundings.
