The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Rashid, congratulated the Yazidis on the occasion of the Yazidi New Year.

Rashid said in a tweet: “I extend my warmest congratulations and blessings to our Yazidi brothers and families on the occasion of the Yazidi New Year, wishing them peace, goodness, and blessings, and that all the displaced return to their cities and homes to contribute with their brothers in the homeland from all sects, for a stable and prosperous Iraq.”
