Train derails in Tunisia taking two lives

A passenger train derailed and overturned in eastern Tunisia at dawn on Wednesday claiming two lives and injuring 32 people, local media reported.

The train, that was heading toward Qabes governorate, derailed and turned over in Masakin city in the center of the east.

The driver and a passenger died and 32 people suffered injuries. Some of the passengers suffered trauma and lost consciousness.

Medical sources in Sousse reported that the wounded were transported to hospitals but the bulk of them had already been discharged.
