The Head of the Iraqi Turkmen Front said that the Turkmen of Kirkuk will enter the elections with one list.

Hassan Turan said that preserving Turkmen unity in strategic issues is a guarantee for achieving broad Turkmen representation in local governments, which will be produced by the results of the provincial elections to be held in December of this year throughout Iraq.

The head of the Iraqi Turkmen Front stressed that the Turkmen will defend their strategic issues in the upcoming elections through wide participation in all provinces, and that achieving Turkmen representation in local governments, reclaiming Turkmen lands, developing Turkmen studies and rehabilitating infrastructure in the Turkmen regions are the priorities of the Iraqi Turkmen Front in the provinces.
