Kuwait’s Health Ministry said on Thursday that two-dose vaccination percentages in comparison to targeted groups across health districts has reached completion.

Ministry spokesman Dr Abdallah Al-Sanad described the milestone as an “indication of a return to full normal life.” “This reflects the great awareness among members of society,” he added.

Across the country’s health districts, two dose recipients reached 83 per cent in the Capital, 77 per cent in Farwaniya, 76 per cent in Hawalli, 70 per cent in Ahmadi and 56 per cent in Jahra.

He renewed calls for those who have been administered an intitial jab to complete the vaccination process with a second, and for people who have not yet been vaccinated to register for the innoculation.

“Vaccination immunises the individual and society as the community begins to reap its benefits with the continued improvement of epidemiological indicators in the country,”
