The security forces arrested two women on charges of theft in a market in Karbala.

A statement of the Ministry of the Interior stated that: “After the Anti-Crime Department was informed that a woman had been robbed in a market in Al-Hindiya district, the detachments of the Anti-Crime Department began collecting and interrupting information, and after a record period of not more than three hours, the perpetrator of the theft was found, and it was found that they were two women.

He added: “After in-depth investigation and confronting them with evidence, they collapsed and openly confessed that they had stolen an amount of money from a female citizen while she was roaming in the markets and seized the stolen amount in their possession.”
