– Kuwait Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah received, Thursday, the visiting envoy of the Ukrainian President and Member of Parliament Rustem Umerov.

During the meeting, they tackled the latest Ukrainian crisis developments.

For his part, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Nasser reiterated State of Kuwait’s firm stance towards rejecting any use of force based on the Charter of the United Nations and international law.

He also emphasized the principle of state sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity in accordance with its internationally recognized borders, and supporting all international efforts to resolve the crisis in Ukraine.

For his part, the Ukrainian envoy conveyed greetings of President Volodymyr Zelensky and the Ukrainian people to the State of Kuwait’s leadership, government and people, expressing his country’s appreciation and gratitude for Kuwait’s stance on the crisis.
