Undersecretary of Foreign Ministry Heads Meeting of Representatives to Prepare for Foreign Ministers Preparatory Meeting for Arab Summit

The meeting to prepare for the 32nd regular session of the Arab summit was chaired by Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, the Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs Ministry for International Multilateral Affairs. Representatives and senior officials attended the meeting, and Dr. Al-Rassi received the presidency from the previous summit’s representative, Ambassador Abdel Hamid Shbira.

Dr. Al-Rassi expressed gratitude to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria for efforts in the previous year’s presidency and welcomed the delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic to the meeting.

During his speech, Dr. Al-Rassi emphasized that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH the Crown Prince, continues to strive for stability, prosperity, growth, and peace regionally and globally. He further expressed the Kingdom’s hope for all countries to support joint Arab action and promote development in the Arab nations.
