Jerusalem – Ma’an – Philippe Lazzarini, Commissioner of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), said that there is a malicious campaign to end the agency’s operations, noting that this will have serious implications for international peace and security.

Lazzarini added, “Israel seeks to end our activities in Gaza, and has repeatedly rejected requests to deliver aid to the northern Gaza Strip.”
