The National Assembly will hold on Wednesday and Thursday, January 12-13, sessions focusing on various topics of interest including the visual and audio media legislations in addition to publishing and distribution laws.

On Wednesday, discussions on the further Kuwaitization of public posts and jobs, the issue of stateless individuals (bedoun) and improving their status as well as amendments to the visual and audio media legislations in addition publishing and distribution laws will feature in the parliamentary session.

The parliamentary session on Thursday similar topics will be addressed in addition to issues pertaining to the development of education.

Speaker of the National Assembly Marzouq Al-Ghanim called yesterday for the scheduled sessions upon a request from MPs.

The cabinet expressed willingness to partake in Thursday’s session in line with its duty to cooperate with parliament.
