Worshippers Fill Grand Mosque on 27th Night of Ramadan

Makkah: On a blessed night of Ramadan, the Grand Mosque was teemed with worshippers from around the world, their hearts filled with hope for Laylat Al-Qadr (Night of Power). An atmosphere of spirituality, tranquility, and security embraced them all.

From early morning yesterday, worshippers and Umrah performers filled the Grand Mosque, its floors, courtyards, and expansions. The Saudi government ensured comfort and ease during the rituals, providing every resource necessary.

Under the supervision of the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, the Tawaf capacity was expanded, Quran copies in multiple languages were available, and cleaning, ventilation, and air conditioning were meticulously maintained. For added convenience, 5000 golf carts were linked via the “Tanaqol” app, easing movement within the mosque space.

Disinfection was intensified, supervisors were stationed at entrances, and worshippers were carefully guided – all to guarantee a smooth experi
ence. This allowed for smooth entry, exit, and access to prayer areas, ensuring safety and focus for everyone.

These efforts by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia highlighted commitment to serving the visitors and Umrah performers of the Grand Mosque. Their commitment ensures worshippers can perform their rituals in a comfortable setting.
