The Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, discussed today, Wednesday, with the Director of the Security Cooperation Office, the arming and equipping of the Iraqi army with modern equipment.

A statement by the Ministry of Defense stated that Yarallah met today, Wednesday, with the Director of the Office of Security Cooperation and his accompanying delegation, and on the Iraqi side, the President of the Defense University for Military Studies and the Director of the Cyber Security Command attended.

According to the statement, the meeting discussed a number of axes related to the training aspect, as well as arming and equipping the Iraqi army with modern equipment, in order to strengthen and develop the military system and raise the capabilities of the armed forces.
