The Ministry of Interior announced the killing of a dangerous drug dealer after a clash with him in Basra Governorate.
The spokesman for the Interior Ministry and the Security Media Cell, Brigadier General Miqdad Miri, said in a statement: ‘A joint force from Basra Anti-Drug Force and SWAT squad arrived at the location of a dangerous drug dealer, and after clashing with him, they were able to kill him.’
He added: ‘This dealer had clashed three days ago with a security force, and at that time he managed to escape after wounding a police officer, but our security forces continued to pursue him until he was killed.’
